Project |

Select the account number you want to charge the line to. An account is required for all requisition lines. Click the magnifying glass button to initiate the search window to select the account number from Costpoint. Enter the beginning characters of the account ID and click the magnifying glass button. Select the appropriate account from the result list. Note:
Only active accounts are available in the look-up or for data entry. If a project is used, only accounts that are active in the Project Account Group (PAG) are available in the look-up. If an Org code is populated with the Project field the account must also be actively linked to the organization code in the Costpoint Org_Acct table and be within the period of performance. Note:
Accounts viewable in this search may be filtered by Expense Types and Expense Levels. For more information on this filtering, see the IAConnect module reference guide. |

Select the organization ID you want to charge the line to. Click the magnifying glass button to initiate the search window to select the Org ID from Costpoint. Enter the beginning characters of the Org ID and click the magnifying glass button. Select the appropriate Org ID from the result list. Note:
Only organizations are available in the look-up or for data entry. If a project is used, only Orgs that are active and not limited by the project wildcards are available. If an account code is populated with the Project field the Org must also be actively linked to the account code in the Costpoint Org_Acct table and be within the period of performance. |
Need By Date |

The Need By Date is the date that the item on this particular line item is needed by. The default date is set to be next day after creating the requisition form. This date overrides the Need By Date specified in the header section of the form. Select a date by using the calendar button. Note:
The Need By Date must be at least one day in the future. |
POP Start & End Date |

If this line item is for a service or subcontract labor, then there may be a specific period of performance (POP) that can be entered. Select a start and end date by using the calendar button. |
Shipping Address |

Use the magnifying glass button to search and select the appropriate shipping address for the supplier to deliver the good or service on this line. This entry overrides the default Shipping Address value entered in the header section of the Purchase Requisition Form. Note:
The Shipping Address code determines the tax rate from the Costpoint SHIP_ID table. The Shipping Address code is required if ordering parts or goods or if the line is a taxable line. |
Deliver To |

Enter the name of the person that the item is to be notified upon receipt or if there are any questions related to the purchase of that item. The field format is VARCHAR (25), so the user may enter up to 25 characters and is not validated against any tables. Note:
The Deliver To field is not tied to the Shipping Address code. |

Item codes can be typed into the field or found using the search window. Click the magnifying glass button to open the search dialog box to select the item to purchase. Enter the beginning characters of the item ID from Costpoint and click Search to populate the result set. Select the item code and description from the result list. Tip:
You can sort the search results by clicking the Item Code or Item Description header. Note:
The minimum number of characters for the search is defined in the customer configuration options set up. |

Unit of Measure (UOM) |

Use the drop-down list to select the unit of measure (UOM) for the service or material to be purchased. Note:
The unit of measure value is pulled from the Costpoint UOM table. |
Unit Price |

Enter the unit cost for the item to be purchased. The unit cost field may contain up to 4 decimal places. The field type is a Decimal (14,4) format. Note:
The unit cost may be 0.00 if there is no charge. If the quantity field is populated, the unit price field is mandatory. |
Extended Amount |

This field is auto calculated if Quantity and Unit Price have been entered. If the item code is a service or if the Misc Type field was used, then you may enter either Extended Amount by itself or Quantity and Unit Cost together. |
Tax Amount |

This field cannot be edited. The field is auto-populated if the Taxable check box is checked in the Tax Info dialog box. |
Tax Information |

Click this button to set the tax flag if the line item is taxable. The Tax Information dialog box is displayed. The Resale and Lease settings default to No. The Project Type field is auto-populated based on the project ID entered for that line. If the Taxable check box is selected, the tax amount is calculated based on the tax ID associated with ship ID selected for that line.
Note:
The line defaults of taxable or non-taxable are defined by the Costpoint product definition settings related to parts, goods, services or miscellaneous line types. The default entries may be overridden during data entry. |
Misc Type |

Select the miscellaneous type code using the drop-down list available. If this option is chosen, the item field is deactivated for this line item. Note:
The Misc Type is an either/or option with the Item code. If Misc Type is used, then Item Code cannot be used. If Item Code is used, then Misc Type cannot be used. This option is a line by line option for data entered. |
Vendor |

Select the preferred vendor from which this item is to be purchased. Click the magnifying glass button to initiate the search dialog box to select the preferred vendor. Enter the beginning characters of the vendor's name and click the magnifying glass button. Select the appropriate vendor from the result list. If the vendor is not known, the buyer may select this at a later point in the process. Note:
The minimum number of characters for the search is defined in the customer configuration options set up. Only vendors that are Approved and Not on Hold in the Costpoint Vendor table are available for selection. The Vendor field may be made optional or mandatory based on a global setting in the Customer Configuration settings. |
PLC |

Enter a Project Labor Category (PLC) code, or click the magnifying glass button to search for a valid PLC code. Note:
Depending on your configuration, this field may not be included on the Purchase Requisition Form. |
Standard Text |

Standard Text codes are used by the requester to add note information to the requisition that is passed to Costpoint. When you click this button, the following Standard Text dialog box is displayed. You can use the plus button to move the Standard Text codes from the left to the right side or click the Select All button to move them all at once. Once the codes are in the Selected Text Codes column, you can use the minus button to move them back or click the Unselect All to move them all back. The Reset button resets all selection and moves the Standard Text codes back to the default position. |

Vendor Part ID |

For some REQConnect solutions, selecting the Quality check box can determine whether the requisition is directed to the Quality Review queue in the Workflow process if the Workflow routing is set up. See your system administrator to determine whether this option is included in your solution. |
