Requests are displayed in the Request Editor. The Request Editor is a window that allows you to view, modify, and perform actions on a request. The following diagram illustrates what the Request Editor might look like, depending on your rights and the state of the request:
Element |
Description |
---|---|
A |
Title Bar- Displays the Request # and the requester name. An asterisk (*) at the end of the title means there are unsaved changes on the request. If a request is disabled and cannot be modified, [Read-Only] is displayed after the requester name. |
B |
Ribbon- Displays available actions you can perform on the request. Available actions depend upon your privileges and the state of the request. |
C |
Request Header- Displays information about the request, including the Request #, the user the request is assigned to, and the current status of the request. |
D |
Request Form- Displays the patient or patients the request is for, the name and address of the requester, additional request information, and associated external items. |
