In the event that the Cloud Replication Service is unable to communicate with the Cloud Server for a period of time, a message can be configured to notify a user, user group, or an external email address. Notifications are configured in the Configuration module.

To configure notifications:

  1. In the Configuration module, click Disk Mgmt, and select Cloud Replication | Notifications. The Cloud Replicated Disk Group Notifications dialog is displayed.
  2. In the Notification Event drop-down list, ensure Heartbeat Failure is selected.
  3. In the field, enter a name describing the notification. Click Create.
  4. The new notification is displayed in the Notifications list.
  5. To delete a notification, select the notification in the Notifications list, and click Delete.
