When a document is retrieved that only exists on the Cloud Server, the Cloud Replication Service makes an immediate request to the Cloud Server to download the file to the configured local cache.
If a file is removed from the cache outside of OnBase, then the file will be re-downloaded in order to preserve consistency throughout the system.
If a file on the Cloud Server is deleted from within OnBase, any cached copies of the file in the local cache will also be deleted.
If the downloaded file would cause the local cache to exceed its configured maximum size limit, then the cache cleanup service will remove the least-accessed files in the cache to make room for the newer downloaded files.
If the cache is deleting files to make room for new files too often, consider increasing the maximum size of the cache.
