When you add a page data column or access its settings, the Page Data dialog box is displayed:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Select Data Configuration if the data occurs in the same location on each page.

    • Select Tag Data Configuration if the data occurs in the same location relative to a specific word or phrase in the mined document.

  2. If you selected Data Configuration from the Page Data dialog box, enter the following settings:

    Line

    Type the line where the page data occurs (relative to the top of the page). The first line of the page is line 1.

    Column

    Type the column where the page data begins. The first column of the page is column 1.

    Width

    Type the number of columns that the data spans. This value should equal the maximum number of characters that a data value may contain.

    If you selected Tag Data Configuration, enter the following settings:

    Line

    Type the line where the tag string occurs, where the first line of the page is line 1.

    Column

    Type the column where the tag string begins, where the first column on the page is column 1.

    Width

    Type the number of columns that the tag string spans.

    For example, the word Month would span 5 columns, one per character.

    Tag String

    Type the alphanumeric characters that compose the tag string.

    Data Location

    (In Relation to Tag)

    Line

    Type the line where the data occurs (relative to the tag string). The line containing the tag string is line 0.

    Column

    Type the column where the data begins (relative to the tag string). The last column in the tag string is column 0, and the first column after the tag string is column 1.

    Width

    Type the number of columns that the data spans. This value should equal the maximum number of characters that a data value may contain.

  3. Click Save.
