By default, generated output files are not archived to OnBase. This behavior can be changed for each Report Mining process.

To configure a Report Mining process to archive output files to OnBase, do the following:

  1. Create a Document Type to store the output files. See the Configuration help files for information about Document Type configuration.
    CAUTION:

    This Document Type must have a Default File Format of MS Excel Spreadsheet, or else the archived documents will be assigned the wrong file type. Assigning a document the wrong file type renders the document unreadable in the OnBase Client.

  2. From the Report Mining dialog box, select the Report Mining process.
  3. Click Settings. The Extract Process Settings dialog box is displayed.
  4. Select Archive Generated Report to Document Type.
  5. Under Document Type, select the Document Type for archiving output files.
  6. Click Save.
    Note:

    Archived output files are named using the following format: <Process Name> - <CREATION DATE/TIME> - <USERNAME>
