When a user attempts to data mine one or more documents, the following error message may be displayed:

  • Failed to open XceedSoftware.XceedZip, packaging records as CSV file

The output file is then generated as a CSV (comma-delimited) file. CSV files can be opened in spreadsheet applications and saved to other formats, if necessary.

This issue occurs when the Xceedzip.dll is not installed in the Client executables directory. To resolve this issue, copy the Xceedzip.dll to the directory containing the OnBase Client executables.
