Report Mining

Report Mining
Foundation 23.1

OnBase Report Mining allows users to make informed business decisions by pulling key information from multiple documents into a single spreadsheet. This process is done automatically, providing immediate access to information. As a result, decision makers can spend less time searching for information and more time analyzing it.

Report Mining works with formatted text documents, such as COLD reports and other output from line-of-business applications. Report Mining can gather different sets of information for a single type of document, and it can present information from multiple types of documents within the same spreadsheet. This versatility allows users to generate useful statistics from data that is important to them.

The information gathered by Report Mining is displayed in Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Excel natively offers tools for data processing and manipulation. Because it is a familiar application to many users, minimal training is required. If Excel is not available, results are displayed in a comma-delimited file, which can be imported into other spreadsheet applications.
