The following section provides solutions to issues you might encounter when using Signature Pad Interface in the Unity Client.

Issue: When trying to view a sample document, the following error is displayed: There was an issue rendering the document. Please close the viewer and try again.

Resolution: This occurs because the sample document is either deleted, or you do not have access to the sample document. You should either re-upload the sample document or contact your system administrator to request access to the document.

Issue: When trying to view a sample document in the Signature Configuration tab, the following error message is displayed: Unable to locate file at sample path.

Resolution: This occurs because the sample document is no longer in the specified location. When the error message is displayed, click OK. The Windows Open dialog box displays the expected location of the file. Navigate to and select a new sample document.

Issue: When attempting to save a signature on a PDF document, an exception error is displayed, and the signature is not recorded.

Resolution: This can occur when attempting to save a signature on certain PDF documents, if the Adobe PDF security settings for the documents restrict changes (that is, if either the Changing the Document or Content Copying for Accessibility restrictions are enabled). To save signatures on PDF documents, ensure that the Changing the Document and the Content Copying for Accessibility restrictions are disabled.
