The Signature Pad Interface module allows users to integrate with Topaz and Wacom devices to sign an OnBase image document, a PDF document, or an E-Form. Once a signature is accepted, it is permanently placed and embedded (burned) into the image so that it becomes a part of the original document, providing a permanent record of the captured document signature.

Signatures can have predefined locations on an image or a PDF document for placement, or they can be dragged to the desired location. When using the OnBase Client or the Unity Client, you are able to store signatures for later use, enabling you to quickly retrieve and apply your signature to documents.

File types available for signing differ depending on the OnBase platform you are using. See Signature Modules Overview for more information on file types you can sign using the Signature Pad Interface in the appropriate OnBase clients.
