Signature Types are containers for stored signatures. For each Signature Type, you can store one signature per user. By default, there are two Signature Types available: Full Signature and Initials. Full Signature is meant to allow users to store signatures containing full first and last names. Initials is meant to allow users to store signatures containing only their initials.

To add a Signature Type:

  1. From the Signature Configuration tab, click the Signature Types button. The Signature Types screen is displayed.
  2. Enter a user-friendly name for the Signature Type in the Signature Type field.
    Tip:

Signature Types should be intuitive to the user. If the expectation is to enter only a first initial and a last name, you should name the Signature Type "First Initial, Last Name" instead of "First Initial.”

  3. Click the Add button.
  4. Click Finish when complete.
