When configuring Document Type settings for image documents to be signed in the OnBase Client, ensure that you select Allow Redaction Bitmaps. A signature cannot be applied to an image document in that Document Type unless this option is selected.

Redact Bitmap Signatures are stored as SYS - Redact Bitmap Document Types. The document file format should be Image File Format.
