Description

Align

Lines up the objects, using the “guide” as reference point.

  • Left: The left edge of all selected objects lines up vertically.

  • Horizontal center: The center of all selected objects lines up vertically.

  • Right: The right edge of all selected objects lines up vertically.

  • Top: The top edge of all selected objects lines up horizontally.

  • Vertical center: The center of all selected objects lines up horizontally.

  • Bottom: The bottom edge of all selected objects lines up horizontally.

Even spacing

Puts an equal amount of space between the selected objects.

  • Across: The text objects are evenly spaced horizontally.

  • Down: The text objects are evenly spaced vertically.

Center

Displays the Move Object box where you can specify new X (width) and/or Y (length) coordinates, in inches.

  • Vertical: Places the center of the grouped object in the middle of the page, length-wise.

  • Horizontal: Places the grouped object in the middle of the page, width-wise.

Cut

Removes the object group from the statement and places it on the clipboard.

Copy

Copies the object group and places it on the clipboard.

Note:

Objects can be copied from one instance of the designer to another instance.

Delete

Deletes the object group from the statement.

Undo

Reverses the last action.

Add suppression links…

The object right-clicked upon will become the suppression link parent object for all other objects selected at the time of the right-click operation. All other selected objects will be linked objects in the Suppression Links dialog box, linked to the parent object. See Suppression Linking for more information.

Pin/Unpin Objects

A toggle option. Pin to allow the object group to appear in the same place on multiple pages. Unpin displays the object group on the current page only.

Colors...

Displays the Color dialog box to apply the same color to the grouped objects.
