Statements processed into OnBase are made up of data from the host file formatted by the configured layout file. Raw data files are broken up using static object and sticky objects. Static objects can be associated with many sticky object values. Each time a new sticky object value is encountered, a new statement is created. For example, a customer, John Adams, might have multiple accounts with the same bank. He might have a savings account, a checking account, and a joint checking account. By associating a sticky record with the account type, a new statement could start for each account John Adams has.
