On the Control point properties dialog box, you can choose to take no action, start a new page or add space between objects.

These options are described in the following table:

Option

Description

No action

This deactivates an existing control point, without deleting it from the statement.

Start new page

Allows you to specify when a new page begins:

  • Always: A new page is started anytime this point is reached.

  • Current position greater than 50% of page: A new page begins if more than 50% of the page has been utilized when the control point is reached.

  • Current position greater than 75% of page: A new page begins if more than 75% of the page has been utilized when the control point is reached.

  • Custom percent: A new page begins if more than the specified percentage of the page has been utilized when the control point is reached.

Insert blank space

Allows you to specify the amount of space to leave between objects. The valid range is between 0.0 and 5.0 inches.

End document

Allows you to specify when the end of a document is reached:

  • Always: The document terminates anytime this point is reached.

  • If no more sticky records exist: Indicates the end of the document after the last sticky object is read.

Repeating area

Allows you to repeat an area of the statement until all sticky records are used for that section.

  • Begin repeating area: Indicates where to begin the area of information to be repeated.

  • End repeating area: Indicates where to end the area of information to be repeated.

  • inches between iterations (0.01"): When End repeating area is select, this option is enabled. It allows you to specify the size of the area between iterations of the repeating area. Any area size between 5 (.05) and 500 (5.00) can be selected. For example, if you have a sticky record linked to account type, the first iteration might be a customer's checking account, then the specified space, then the same customer's savings account in the second iteration.
