This tab displays the type of chart you are configuring, depending on the type of external object you are binding. Bar charts use repeating data types, pie charts use static, sticky, or linked data types. Charts can be used when fields are currency or numeric format.

Suppress chart when no records exist displays the chart only when external data is present. The object's white space within the configured layout will still exist.
