  1. Click Insert and select External Object. Select either Text Box, Data stream, or Chart, or

    click the Text Box, Data stream, or Chart button on the Insert toolbar, or

    right-click on the statement and select Insert object | External Object. Then select Text Box, Data stream, or Chart.

  2. Place the pointer on the statement in the area where you want the object and click the left mouse button. For charts, click the left mouse button and drag. Release the mouse button when you are satisfied with the size of the area for the chart.
