If your system is licensed for Document Distribution, in the Configuration module, select Printing | Document Distribution | Distribution Process.
  2. Create a new distribution process or highlight the name of a distribution process and click Settings.
  3. In the Distribution Process dialog box, select the Use Class of Service check box. Click OK.
  4. With the name of the distribution process highlighted, click the Class of Service button.
  5. Enter a name for the class of service and click Create.
  6. With the name of the class of service highlighted, click the Settings button.
  7. In the Class of Service dialog box, select a Statement Format.

If you are licensed for Document Distribution, this dialog box is called Class of Service (Default Distribution Settings) and requires additional configuration.

  8. The Class of Service Identifier field contains the text string, as found in the process file (.odf), from the field identified as the Class of service indicator field in the ODF editor. Determine this text string by:
    1. Identify the field in the Object Definition Editor selected as the Class of service indicator .
    2. View the Locations information for that field in the Object Definition Editor to determine the Start column and Record length of the text string in the .odf file.
    3. Obtain the record ID number for the object
    4. Find the record in the process file beginning with the ID, (100 in this example). Then go to the Start column of that record (in this example it is column 29) and note the exact string for the length of that field (Branch #17). This is the Class of service identifier for this particular statement format.
