When creating an object definition, you must connect to the API. If you entered incorrect user credentials when configuring the API settings, the following errors are displayed when you click the Create a New Object Definitions button:

Login failed for user '[user name]'(where [user name] is the current user name entered in the API connection settings dialog box)

Unable to connect to API, please verify connection settings
To resolve this issue:

Click OK to each of the displayed errors. The API connection settings dialog box is displayed.
