Once the processor is configured, you must execute it to bring the statements into the document management system. This process is identical to running a normal COLD process. See the COLD documentation for further details.
When a statement is processed into OnBase, a file is created combining data and .odf information into a single file for the statement. The layout file is never imported into OnBase. It must continue to reside in the location specified in the Statement Format Configuration dialog box.
Once statements are committed to the disk group, they can be retrieved, viewed and managed using the Document Retrieval dialog box.
Layout files can be changed without reprocessing the statements. Changes to a layout file must be made to the same file and directory location(s) associated with the statement. If a statement has been viewed in the Client module and the Client module remains open during a layout change, the Client module will need to be restarted before the layout changes will take effect.
For other COLD Queue functionality, see the COLD/ERM Modular Reference Guide.
You can schedule Statement Composition processes in the Client. See for more information about creating process jobs and scheduling.
