You can link two or more portlets vertically to create a single unit. By linking portlets, you can consolidate related content and use space more efficiently.

When portlets are linked, they share the same title bar and border. The title bar of the top portlet is used for the entire group.

Note:

The top portlet in a layout does not display the Link With Above Portlet button.

  1. Arrange the portlets you want to link in a column.
  2. In the last portlet, click the menu icon and then select Link Portlet.
    1. The portlet is linked to the portlet above it.
  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to link additional portlets to this unit.
    Note:

You cannot link a portlet unit containing multiple portlets to the portlet above it. To do so, you have to unlink the portlet unit and then link it to the desired portlet.
