For multi-column layouts, you can resize columns to adjust the amount of information displayed in a portlet.
Note:
Unless you have the Group Layout Configuration privilege, you cannot resize columns in group layouts. If you do have the Group Layout Configuration privilege, remember that your changes affect all users who have access to the layout.

Click and drag the column to the proper width. The new width is saved automatically.
