The Configuration pane displays the settings of the Distributed Services server as configured in OnBase:
-
Server Name(s): The UNC, DNS, and IP address of the Distributed Services server.
-
TCP/IP Port: The port used by the Distributed Services server.
-
Max Threads: The maximum number of threads configured for the Distributed Services server.
-
Log File: The location of the Distributed Services server log file. If a local address is used (e.g., c:\DDSErrors.txt), the log file is saved at that location local to the machine the Distributed Services server is running on.
Low-level socket errors are logged to the DDSerrors.txt file. When the Distributed Services server is launched under the -VERBOSE command-line switch, verbose logging information is also logged to the DDSerrors.txt file.
-
ODBC Source: The ODBC source the Distributed Services server is using to connect to OnBase.
To change any of these values you must log in to the OnBase Configuration module and select Distributed Centera Services from the Disk Mgmt menu. In order for the changes to take effect, the Distributed Services server must be restarted after saving the changes. The DSA Console connection must also be re-established after the Distributed Services server is restarted.
