The following errors may be encountered.

“Please provide an ODBC source on the command line.” |
This error is caused because the -ODBC switch was not specified in the command line of the CenteraService executable. DCS requires a database connection. See, Command-Line Switches. |

“Error connecting to ODBC data source.” |
This error is caused because the database referenced by the -ODBC switch is not available. DCS requires a database connection. See, Command-Line Switches. |

“Error loading Centera DLLs.” |
This error is caused because the Centera DLLs were not found in the appropriate directory. |
|
“No Centera Servers configured in DB.” |
This error is caused when Centera Disk Groups have not been configured. See, Configuration. |
|
“Error starting listener:” |
This means that a low-level socket error occurred, which could be caused by another application using the same socket. |
