This switch enables the work of the following switches to begin at a specified time of the day:

  • -AUTOWRITECD

  • -AWCENTERA

  • -AWTIVOLI

This must be used in conjunction with the -AWEND switch. The time is entered in a 24-hour clock format: HH:MM. For example, -AWBEGIN="23:00" -AWEND="05:30" runs backups between 11:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.

CAUTION:

The -AWBEGIN switch should not be configured with "00:00" or "24:00". The system cannot be configured to start the service at midnight.

Note:

The -AWBEGIN and -AWEND are not specific to any single backup process. Users should not launch the OnBase Client with the -AWBEGIN and -AWEND switches applied unless the times entered are acceptable for all the backup processes the workstation is configured to run.
