To configure a portfolio type:

  1. In the Home ribbon within the Portfolios ribbon group, click Portfolio Types. The Portfolio Types dialog box is displayed.
  2. Select the Repository from the drop-down list in which you would like to configure the portfolio type.
  3. Click Add. The Portfolio Type Configuration dialog box is displayed.
  4. Enter Name for the portfolio type.
  5. Select the Content Type from the drop-down list that you want to associate with the portfolio type. Available options are Documents, Entity Items, and WorkView Objects.
  6. Click Add. The Add Portfolio Relation dialog box is displayed.
  7. Select the appropriate relation.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Repeat steps 6 to 8 for each portfolio relationship you want to associate with the portfolio type.
  10. Click OK when finished.

You can locate a specific, existing portfolio type by entering text that will identify the portfolio type in the Find field. The portfolio types displayed will be narrowed down to the portfolio types that contain the characters entered.

You can modify an existing portfolio type by selecting it and clicking Modify.
