By default, a user's account is unlocked. When a user account is locked, it is temporarily disabled, and the user cannot access the account until it is unlocked.

To lock or unlock a user account in the OnBase Administration Portal:

  1. Select the user from the Users page.

    The user's page is displayed.

  2. Under the Security Options heading, click Lock User to lock the user's account or click Unlock User to unlock the user's account.

    The Lock User and Unlock User button changes depending on whether the selected user's account is locked or unlocked.
