It is considered a best practice to only use Mixed Case Keyword Values when there is a clear benefit. For example, Mixed Case Keyword Values can be used if these Keyword Values will be used to construct documents or notifications that will be sent to customers. Instead of seeing Keyword Values in upper case, the customer will see something that looks more normal when the Keyword Values are configured as Mixed Case. Keyword Values that are seldom used by end users are not good candidates for Mixed Case configuration, as Mixed Case Keyword Values require an extra column in the table. This column is not in an index, so it has to be pulled from the underlying table each time it is displayed.
