When a Keyword Type is configured with a Currency Data Type, it must be assigned a Currency Format. Workstation Regional Settings is the default format assigned.
You should only select Workstation Regional Settings if all of your business users use the same regional settings. When Workstation Regional Settings is selected, the selected Keyword Type will be displayed differently depending on a user's regional settings. This can cause Keyword Values to be displayed incorrectly for some users. For example: A Keyword Value of TotalPrice is configured with a Currency Format of Workstation Regional Settings, and a document is imported into the system with a TotalPrice of 100. When a user in the United States views this document, the TotalPrice is displayed as 100 dollars. When a user in Japan views the same document, the TotalPrice is displayed as 100 yen.
To assign a Currency Format to a Keyword Type:

In the Keyword Type Configuration dialog box, select a Keyword Type that has a Currency Data Type.

Select the Settings button. The Keyword Type Settings dialog box is displayed.

From this box, select the Format button. The Currency Format Configuration dialog box is displayed.
