In order to assign a specific currency format to your Keyword Type, you should first configure Currency Formats.

CAUTION:

The Specific Currency data type should not be used in E-Form or Virtual E-Form Document Types. This data type is not supported on either of these Document Types.

To configure a specific currency for a Keyword Type that may be using multiple currency formats:

  1. From the Configuration module, select Keyword | Keyword Types. The Keyword Type Configuration dialog box displays.
  2. Assign a name to the Keyword Type (i.e., International Currency).
  3. Click Create. The Keyword Type Settings dialog box displays.
  4. Select the Specific Currency Data Type. Once you have done this, the Format button automatically displays in the Keyword Type Settings dialog box.
  5. Click the Format button. The Currency Format Configuration dialog box displays.
    CAUTION:

    Windows Workstation Regional Settings cannot be selected as a default currency format for a Keyword Type that has a Specific Currency Data Type.

  6. Select a Defined Currency Format. This currency format will act as your default currency when searching for documents in the Client. The Defined Currency Format drop-down list contains all the Currency Formats you have configured.
  7. Click Save to close the Currency Format Configuration dialog box.
  8. Click Save again to close the Keyword Type Settings dialog box.
  9. Select Close to exit the Keyword Type Configuration dialog box, or create another Specific Currency Keyword Type.
