Note Types configured for redaction annotations are not supported for creating permanent redactions in the Web Client. However, permanent redactions can be created in the Web Client using built-in redaction tools. The redaction tools are available from the toolbar in the document viewer.
A user can use the redaction tools to save black or white redactions, as long as the following requirements are met:

The user has the Modify privilege for the Document Type.

The document has an image or text report format. When redactions on a text document are saved, the resulting redacted document has an image file format.
CAUTION:Text documents containing overlays are not supported for Document Type redaction. Redactions are not aligned and burned properly on these documents.

The Document Type is configured for redactions.
