Accessed in the Configuration module by selecting Users | User Groups/Rights, selecting the User Group, and clicking Note Types, OR selecting Document | Note Types, selecting the note, clicking User Groups, and selecting one or multiple User Groups.

Level 1 is the most globally restrictive level of security, which is controlled by an administrator through the Configuration module. The settings on this level affect the options available in both Level 2 and Level 3. This level restricts access to Note Types by User Group. Available privileges are Create, View, Modify, and Delete. These privileges apply to all members of the User Group, including the note's creator. For example, a user who has access to a Note Type and has the Create privilege, but does not have the View privilege, can create a note but cannot view their own note.
