The following steps describe the Secure File Transfer Protocol process flow at a high
level.
Customers upload files over the internet to the Hyland Cloud SFTP server.
The uploaded files are scanned for viruses or harmful code. If the files are
found to contain viruses or harmful code, they are quarantined, the transfer
process is halted, and an alert is generated.
The uploaded files are moved from the Hyland Cloud SFTP server to a processing
server.
Files are archived in a specific archive location. Archives are kept for
30 days in the event the source file is needed.
After files are archived, the files are deleted from the Hyland Cloud
SFTP server.
The uploaded files are imported into a Hyland application.
