The Configuration module is where most of the setup for the functionality of OnBase occurs. OnBase is designed to be extremely flexible and configurable to a company's needs. This unified point of configuration makes it easier to administer the system and ensure the various modules are correctly configured.
You will only see the configuration for the modules that you have purchased. When additional modules are purchased, the Configuration module will display the configuration accessibility for the new modules. If you cannot find the configuration for a module you believe you have purchased, contact technical support and they will be able to determine if your system is set up for the module.
To be allowed access to the Configuration module, the user you log on as must have rights to run the Configuration module. If you need access to the Configuration module and the program will not allow you to log on, contact your system administrator to verify that your user name has been granted appropriate rights.
This reference guide is segmented into three parts to assist you in successfully using the Configuration module and maintaining your OnBase solution. The three main sections of the reference guide are Definitions, Client Administration, and Configuration. Together, these parts comprise System Administration. A brief introduction to each of the sections follows.
This reference guide covers functionality specific to the Configuration module. Any configuration that is specific to a certain module will be covered in that module's documentation.
