User Groups may have multiple Document Types assigned to them, and a User Group may have their assigned Document Types edited from their User Group page. While on a User Group's page, the Document Types currently assigned to that User Group are listed under the Document Types heading.

To edit the Document Types assigned to a User Group in the OnBase Administration Portal:

  1. Select the User Group from the User Groups page.

    The User Group's page is displayed.

  2. Near the Document Types heading, click Manage.

    The Manage Document Types dialog box is displayed.

  3. In the Document Types table, click a Document Type to assign that Document Type to the User Group or click Select All to assign all Document Types to the User Group. Assigned Document Types are displayed in the Assigned table.
    You may also filter the list of Document Types by entering text in the Search Document Types field. Using the Select All option after filtering the list of available Document Types allows you to assign multiple Document Types to the User Group at once.
  4. To remove an assigned Document Type from the User Group, click a Document Type listed in the Assigned table. To remove all assigned Document Types from the User Group, click Unselect All.
  5. Click OK.

    The Document Types list on the User Group's page updates to reflect the new Document Type assignment.

  6. Click Save to save your changes to the User Group's page.
