It is considered a best practice to enable the Disable document list refresh Global Client Setting (found on the Misc tab). When this setting is enabled, users are required to manually refresh the Document Search Results list. When this setting is disabled, users can configure their own Document Search Results list refresh rate. Each time the Document Search Results list refreshes, the same query that generated the initial list of search results is run on the database. This could be a problem for databases with many users.
