It is considered a best practice to create Keyword Type Groups with the Include Document Date setting enabled. This can greatly reduce the load on a database. Keyword Type Groups must include a Keyword Type when searching, as well as a date, to see performance improvement.
CAUTION:
Consult Database Services to add the Document Date to an existing Keyword Type Group.
