A user can print multiple documents with different Document Types. If these Document Types have different Print / Fax overlay display options, the user can select or deselect the Print Overlay options in the Print dialog box.

For Document Types with Default Off display options, the printed documents respect the Print Overlay options selected in the Print dialog box.

For Document Types with Default On, Required or Not Available display options, the printed documents respect the Document Type's display options.
An overlay assigned to a print format at the Print Format dialog box and selected in the Print dialog box will take precedence over the Document Type settings only if the Document Type's print or fax overlay setting is set to Default Off.
