Level 3 is the last layer of security, controlled by the user in OnBase. This level consists of privacy options that are specific to individual notes within a note type. The options are Disallow View, Disallow Update, and Disallow Delete. These options apply to all users belonging to a User Group that has rights to the Note Type to which the specific note belongs, except the creator of the specific note. For example: A user creates a Completed note on a document. The Completed Note Type gives all privileges on Level 1 and Disallow Delete on Level 2, so any notes created for this Note Type cannot be deleted by anyone but the creator of the note. The user decides to create another Completed note, but wants to include notes to himself that he does not want others to see, so he selects the Disallow View privacy option for that specific note. The first Completed note can still be viewed by others, while the second Completed note with the Disallow View privacy option applied is only viewable to him.

If a privacy option is disallowed in Level 2, it will not be available for selection in Level 3; it will already be disallowed.
