Retrieval Keywords provide a Keyword Type by which a user can further limit a Document Type, Document Type Group, or Folder Type custom query.
For example, a custom query based on the Check Image Document Type might be configured with a Retrieval Keyword of Amount. In this case, if a user does not enter a value in the Amount field, the custom query returns all Check Image documents. If the user enters a value in the Amount field, the system returns all Check Image documents of the specified amount.
