The Configuration module is where most of the setup for the functionality of OnBase occurs. OnBase is designed to be extremely flexible and configurable to a company's needs. This unified point of configuration makes it easier to administer the system and ensure the various modules are correctly configured.
You will only see the configuration for the modules that you have purchased. When additional modules are purchased, the Configuration module will display the configuration accessibility for the new modules. If you cannot find the configuration for a module you believe you have purchased, contact technical support and they will be able to determine if your system is set up for the module.
To be allowed access to the Configuration module, the user you log on as must have rights to run the Configuration module. If you need access to the Configuration module and the program will not allow you to log on, contact your system administrator to verify that your user name has been granted appropriate rights.
The following topics are covered in the Configuration Module section:
If multiple instances of the Configuration module are open, changes made in one will not immediately be updated in the other open instance. When working in multiple instances of the Configuration module (such as if two administrator users are working at the same time), be aware of this so as to avoid overwriting any settings.
