The Products tab controls the number and type of OnBase products that a User Group will have the ability to configure.

The options on the Products tab are based on the products licensed for your system. Depending on your system configuration, you may not have a Products tab or your Products tab may contain a number of different options.

The Products tab may contain the following configuration rights:

Configuration Right

Description

Front Office Scanning

Enables access to Medical > Front Office Scanning.

Note: This option requires the selected user group to have an Integration for Epic license in addition to a Front Office Scanning license.

Scanning Configuration

Enables access to all scanning and bar code configuration (Scan Queues and Bar Code Process), Scan Queues and Bar Code reports, OCR Formats, and Document Imaging Help.

Exception Report Configuration

Enables access to configuring and printing Basic Exception Reports, Advanced Exception Reports, and Exception Report Help.

Terminal Configuration

Enables access to Import > Configure Terminal, Terminal Emulation Reports, and Host Application Enabler Help.

Physical Records Management

Enables access to the Document > Physical Record Management sub-menus and the Physical Records Management Help.

Document Knowledge Transfer

Enables access to Document > Reading Group and the Document Knowledge Transfer Help.

Records Management

Enables access to Document > Retention Plans, Document > Retention Event, Users > Records Management Settings, and the Records Management Help.

Also controls the availability of the Records Management radio button in the Usage section of Document > Folder Types > Settings Tab and the availability of the Records Management tab in Document > Folder Types.

Medical Records

Enables access to the Medical menu, except for the HL7 entries. Also enables access to the Medical Records Managment Solution and Medical Records Release of Information Help.

Note:

For systems with a Release of Information license used in a standalone environment (i.e., a system without an HL7 license), this configuration right is labeled Release of Information instead of Medical Records.

Collaboration Templates

Enables access to Document > Collaboration Templates, Document > Collaboration Settings, and the Collaboration Help.

Med2Web Physician Portal

Enables access to configuring the Physician Portal.

Patient Portal

Enables access to the Patient Portal Configuration Utility and the Repository Manager.

Field Application

Enables access to configure Field Applications for use in Unity Briefcase and the Integration for Netsmart Homecare.

System Folio

Enables access to create and configure system folios and add or remove reference documents. Users who are only granted this right cannot synchronize folios.

Report Services

One of the rights required for users in the selected User Group to access Report Services Configuration. See the Report Services module reference guide for more information.

Forms Designer

Enables access to the Unity Forms Designer from the Unity Client.

Full-Text Search Configuration

Enables access to Utils > Full-Text Search.

Combined Viewer Configuration

Enables access to Document > Combined View Configuration.

Assign any Combined Views

Allows users in the User Group to edit combined view types and assign users to those combined view types, regardless of whether the user belongs to a User Group that has been granted access to the combined view type.

Note:

This does not grant the user the ability to assign groups to which the user does not belong to combined views. The ability to assign non-member groups can only be achieved by making the user a User Group administrator.

Combined Viewer Configuration must be selected to enable this option.

Assign any View Tabs

Allows users in the User Group to edit View tabs and assign users to those tabs, regardless of whether the user belongs to a User Group that has been granted access to the tabs.

Note:

This does not grant the user the ability to assign groups to which the user does not belong to tabs. The ability to assign non-member groups can only be achieved by making the user a User Group administrator.

Combined Viewer Configuration must be selected to enable this option.

Assign any AutoFill Keyword Set

Allows users to assign any AutoFill Keyword Set to a combined view type regardless of whether the user has explicit permissions to access the AutoFill Keyword Set.

Combined Viewer Configuration must be selected to enable this option.

Assign Custom Query Type

Allows user to assign any custom query to a View tab regardless of whether the user has explicit permissions to access the custom query.

Combined Viewer Configuration must be selected to enable this option.

Assign any Document Type

Allows users in the User Group to assign any document types available to combined view types as an import document type.

Combined Viewer Configuration must be selected to enable this option.

Assign any Workflow Lifecycle Queue

Allows user to assign any Queue to a View tab, regardless of whether the user has explicit permissions to access the Lifecycle.

Combined Viewer Configuration must be selected to enable this option.

Assign any WorkView Class filter

Allows user to assign any WorkView Filter to a View tab, regardless of whether the user has explicit permissions to access the Filter.

Combined Viewer Configuration must be selected to enable this option.

Workflow Configuration

Enables access to the Workflow menu, VB Scripts configuration, Business Rules Engine, and Workflow Help.

All Life Cycles: select this option to allow members of the selected user group to configure all available life cycles. This option is selected by default.

Assigned Life Cycles Only: select this option to allow members of the selected user group to configure only those life cycles that they have rights to access.

Note:

The Report > Run All Reports option is displayed only if the user has access to all Configuration reports.
