If you configure your system to use translated Document Names or Folder Names, you will experience slower performance during document and folder retrieval. When using these real-time translations, the server will consume significantly more CPU resources to display each page of results. You can improve the server's performance slightly by:
-
Configuring your Document Types and Folder Types to use as few Keyword Types as possible in the translated Auto-Name.
-
Using a Multi-Instance Keyword Type Group or a Single-Instance Keyword Type Group in the translated Auto-Name when more than one Keyword Type is required.
-
Not creating unnecessary translations (e.g., if a Document Type Auto-Name contains only Keyword Values, no translation is necessary).
