Select an import format.
Data can be imported using either the default format or a custom format. The format defines the Document Type, Keyword Type, Currency Format, and Note Type mappings for the imported data. These mappings equate data objects found in the CD/DVD database with the those found in the primary database.

To import using the default import format, select <Default> from the Format drop-down list. The default format is not mapped to a specific set of objects. When <Default> is selected, the system attempts to map objects by matching them with those in the destination database. If there is no match, the import will fail.

To import using a custom import format, select from the Company drop-down list the company associated with the import format you wish to use. Then, select the custom format from the Format drop-down list.
