Document locks can occur within OnBase for many reasons, one of which is an abrupt closing or failure of the OnBase Client in the midst of working with a specific document. Document locks can prevent users from accessing or processing the “locked” document. It is important for the OnBase Administrator to verify that document locks are not present to ensure that all documents flow through normal processes.
Document locks can be removed in the OnBase Client by selecting Admin | Utilities | Document Lock Administration.
