The OnBase Administrator should ensure that there is ample free space in the location(s) of all Disk Groups, to prevent processes from failing to import data into OnBase. This can be easily estimated by recording the amount of space being used by each Disk Group on a periodic basis, which should be approximately once per week.
Similar to the size of the database or transaction log, there is an added benefit of being aware of the growth of the OnBase system from an overall data standpoint. Capacity planning and preemptive measures can be taken prior to a failure.
