You can add data set values to an existing Keyword Data Set. These data sets can either be created in a text file format or added directly into OnBase.
To import a data set:
- Select a Keyword Type that has been assigned a data set from the Keyword Type Configuration dialog box.

Click Data Set.
The Keyword Data Set Configuration dialog box displays.

Click the Import button.
The Keyword Data Set Import dialog box displays:

Select the Import from File check box if you wish to import an existing text file that contains the data set values. An imported text file must meet the following prerequisites:

The imported text file does not contain delimiters.

Each Keyword Value in the imported text file appears on a separate line.

If masked Keyword Values are included in the import file, the mask characters should be contained in the import file when the mask is configured to Store Mask Characters. The mask characters should not be contained in the import file when the mask is configured to Extract Mask Characters.
CAUTION:If the selected Keyword Type is configured with a mask, ensure imported values do not exceed the character limit of the mask. Keyword Values that exceed the character limit of a configured mask are truncated without notice upon import.
Deselect this check box if you wish to manually enter the data set values in the text box provided below it.

- Click Browse to search for the text file containing the data set values or enter the data in the text box.
- Select Merge if you wish to add the data set values to existing data set values.
- Select Replace if you wish to replace all existing data set values with the newly created data set values.
- Click OK. The data set values will be added.
