The decision to delete configured Keyword Types should not be taken lightly, as deleting Keyword Types that are in use could have adverse effects on your OnBase system. To delete a Keyword Type from OnBase, you must use the -ROMANZO switch.

CAUTION:

Before using features enabled by the -ROMANZO switch, ensure that you understand the feature and implications of any changes to your system. Contact your service provider with any questions regarding these features. Features enabled by the -ROMANZO switch should not be made available to the casual user. Remove the -ROMANZO switch after completing necessary actions.

Note:

You cannot delete system Keyword Types or Keyword Types that are part of a Keyword Type Group, Multi-Instance Keyword Type Group, Cascading Data Set, or AutoFill Keyword Set.

To delete a Keyword Type:

  1. Ensure that the -ROMANZO switch is enabled.
  2. Select Keyword | Keyword Types

    The Keyword Type Configuration dialog box displays:

  3. Select a Keyword Type from the Defined Keyword Types list and click the Delete button.
  4. A confirmation dialog box displays:
  5. Click Yes to delete the Keyword Type permanently.
  6. Click Close to exit the dialog box.
