The following are considerations you should take into account before applying the Repeat on All Pages attribute to Note Types:
-
Users should be aware of Note Types with the Repeat on All Pages attribute selected. If a user updates the text of a note repeated on all pages, the note text is updated on all pages. If a user changes the position of the note on the first page the note was added to, its position is changed accordingly on all pages.
-
It is considered a best practice to only add Repeat on All Pages notes to the first page of a text document. Adding them to subsequent pages may not display consistent behavior across clients.
-
In the Web Client, if a user deletes the origin page of a Repeat on All Pages note and creates a new revision of the document, the note is deleted from all pages on the new revision.
-
In the OnBase Client, when creating a new document, Repeat on All Pages notes are only copied to the new document if the original pages the notes were added to are included in the page range for the new document.
