Note Types configured for redaction annotations are not supported for creating permanent redactions in the Web Client. However, permanent redactions can be created in the Web Client using built-in redaction tools. For more information about creating permanent redactions in the Web Client, see Redactions in the Web Client.
Note Types configured for redaction annotations can be used to print redacted documents on an ad hoc basis from the Web Client.
If both Use for Redaction and Always Print on Document are selected, the redaction annotation and its title will always be printed on the document in the Web Client. Because the title is printed on top of the redaction, you should ensure that the Auto-Name string makes it clear that the title text is part of the redaction annotation. For example, REDACTED on %D2 would indicate both that the document has been redacted and when the redaction was created.
